Halliday has unveiled its second-generation smart glasses, addressing many of the flaws that plagued its 2025 debut model. Reviewer Victoria Song, who found the original CES 2025 version uncomfortable and hard to read, reports that the Gen 2 offers a significantly improved viewing experience thanks to a redesigned display system, positioning the glasses as a discreet productivity tool for work meetings rather than a camera-equipped wearable.

The new model replaces the original's fiddly, movable display window with more conventional waveguides, now fitted to both lenses rather than just one, giving a noticeably larger viewing area. The displays are monochrome green, reaching 1,600 nits of brightness at 600×300 pixel resolution per eye, and remained legible even in a dark bar setting. Halliday deliberately omitted a camera to protect privacy and extend battery life to roughly 12 hours, instead focusing on a new "Meeting Flow" suite featuring Thread Tracker, Decision Confirmation and Commitment Check tools, which use AI to summarise discussion topics, confirm decisions and flag action items with deadlines, alongside post-meeting transcripts.
