Halo: Campaign Evolved and Game Freak’s Beast of Reincarnation Lead Xbox Game Pass July 2026 Wave 2 Lineup
Xbox has revealed the second wave of July 2026 additions to Game Pass, headlined by Halo: Campaign Evolved and a new title from Pokémon developer Game Freak called Beast of Reincarnation. Both are launching directly into the subscription service on their release days, continuing Microsoft's strategy of making its first-party titles available at no extra cost to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, with Call of Duty remaining the main exception to that approach.
Halo: Campaign Evolved arrives on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on 28 July, while Beast of Reincarnation follows on 4 August. Other day-one releases include co-op detective horror title Shift at Midnight (22 July) and dark fantasy extraction ARPG Mistfall Hunter (30 July), alongside further additions such as Hell is Us, Corsair Cove and Heretic + Hexen. As usual, several games will also leave the service on 31 July, including Celeste, Crusader Kings 3, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord and Rain World, giving subscribers a final chance to buy them at a discount before they go.
