Harrowing Tampa Citibank shooting video shows moment gunman was taken out by Marine vet

Jacob Pearson was fatally shot by a Citibank security guard after killing a woman and entering the company’s Tampa facility seeking further victims, according to the sheriff. The incident followed a dispute over a $2,500 debt, and highlights how the guard’s actions stopped the attack from continuing.

The account says Pearson, 35, drove from Orlando to the CitiBank Center after becoming angry about a summons received on Wednesday. He crashed through a gate and shot Leanne Selman, 41, then returned to his car for a handgun and shot her again as she tried to crawl away. Pearson entered the cafeteria, where guard John Fraley took cover in a men’s restroom and fired five bullets, killing him.
