Eden writes that Harry raised the issue with friends as far back as September, saying he wanted his children to benefit from the "extensive family network" enjoyed by their cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, who attend Lambrook School, with George due to start at Eton. A friend suggested King Charles was "delighted" at the prospect, though Meghan, reportedly wary of boarding schools, still required persuading. The couple are expected to retain their properties in California and Portugal while establishing a UK base, and Eden frames the move as vindication of his earlier reporting of an "Establishment plot" to bring the Sussexes home, which he says was previously dismissed by both Palace officials and the couple's supporters.
