Harry and Meghan take voyage on vintage steam boat around remote island that inspired The Wicker Man

Daily Mail · 2 hours ago

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent two days on Tanera Mor, a remote private island in Scotland's Inner Hebrides, during a week-long visit to Britain last month, according to The Mail on Sunday. The island is notable for reportedly inspiring the cult 1973 horror film The Wicker Man, though Harry and Meghan's trip was reportedly a relaxed family break rather than anything sinister.

The couple were joined by their children, seven-year-old Archie and five-year-old Lilibet, and are understood to have enjoyed the island's scenery, wildlife such as otters and seals, and its sandy bays. They also took a boat trip around the coastline aboard Rita, a vintage steam vessel.
