Variety’s Global Bulletin reports several entertainment-industry developments, led by the 10th anniversary of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” in London’s West End.

– “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” has become modern West End history’s longest-running two-part play, drawing more than 2.5 million people at the Palace Theatre since opening in 2016.
– The London production has staged 1,762 combined performances, involved 276 cast members and helped introduce more than 300,000 people to theatre for the first time; its original two-part format ends on 20 September before a one-part version opens on 9 October.
– Globally, the play has reached over 14 million people through five current productions and a North American tour, winning 60 major awards, including nine Olivier Awards and six Tonys.
– Yash Raj Films and Google will hold an AI filmmaking workshop in Mumbai on 4 August, focused on using Google’s Flow creative tools in established production workflows.
– KC Global Media Asia has announced “AXN Ultimate Challenge: Sarawak”, a four-episode adventure competition series featuring content creators undertaking challenges in Sarawak.
