Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience will return to New York on 16 October 2026, giving visitors an interactive journey through the Wizarding World. The attraction matters because it expands the franchise beyond films and books, combining storytelling, immersive environments and audience participation.

The event at Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown Heights will feature a redesigned six-part chronological story, additional characters and creatures, spell-casting activities and attempts to conjure a Patronus. It will draw on the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, while coinciding with HBO’s upcoming television reboot, which will begin with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
