Heart of Midlothian have agreed to sell Greek winger Alexandros Kyziridis to an unnamed Turkish club for a fee of around £1.7m. The move ends a season-long spell at Tynecastle for the 25-year-old, who had attracted interest from several clubs over the summer following an impressive first year in Scottish football.

Kyziridis joined Hearts last summer from Slovakian side Zemplin Michalovce on a three-year deal, and became a key attacking figure under head coach Derek McInnes as the club challenged for a historic league title. He scored six goals and provided 11 assists in 42 appearances, and earned his first international cap for Greece in a friendly against Italy this summer. He featured in last week's match against Benfica in Lisbon but will now head to Turkey to complete the transfer, with Hearts having already brought in Josh McPake and Calvin Miller as replacements in a similar role.
