The HEAT Latin Music Awards will be held in Mexico for the first time in 2026, with the ceremony scheduled for 5 November at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center in Jalisco. The move marks a new chapter for the awards, which recognise established and emerging artists across Latin America and the Caribbean, and reinforces Jalisco’s efforts to position itself as a major entertainment destination.

The event, titled HEAT Latin Music Awards al Estilo Jalisco, is being organised with the Jalisco government and Puerto Vallarta municipality. It will conclude HEAT Week, running from 31 October to 5 November, and coincide with Mexico’s Day of the Dead celebrations; the awards will stream on LosHeat.tv. Premios Heat was founded more than a decade ago by Colombian music executive Diana Montes, having previously been staged in Punta Cana and, last year, Medellín.
