Actor François Arnaud, star of the series Heated Rivalry, has been named a global brand ambassador for Under Armour, the athletic apparel company announced. His first act in the role is fronting the brand's new "For When It's Hot" campaign, which launched alongside the announcement.

The campaign promotes Under Armour's HeatGear range and debuts during what the brand describes as historically the hottest week of the year in North America; Under Armour had teased Arnaud's involvement on social media in the preceding week. In an accompanying video, Arnaud is shown working out and putting on the gear as temperatures rise. Under Armour's chief communications officer, Matt Dornic, said the brand was drawn to Arnaud for embodying confidence and authenticity, while Arnaud said in a statement he was "grateful and honored" and reflected on how unexpected the milestone felt.
