(HED) P.E. has launched its own label, Creator One Records, and released a new single and video, ‘Violent Girl’, marking a further step in the California band’s long-running independent approach. The song previews its forthcoming album, ‘Relapse’, while the label is intended to give artists greater creative control and a more direct relationship with audiences.

Frontman Jahred Gomes said ‘Violent Girl’ is a metaphor rather than a song about a person, leaving its interpretation open to listeners. ‘Relapse’ is due in October, and the band will tour the United States this autumn with Nonpoint and Spineshank on the ‘Even More Outta Control Tour’; the single is available on major streaming services.
