Jack Farrell, 21, the son of Hamptons developer Joe Farrell, is facing a $7 million lawsuit alleging that he drove a pickup truck over Spanish tourist Pablo Ibanez Fernandez on a Bridgehampton beach in August. The lawsuit, filed by Pablo and his brother Alberto, also names Farrell Building and claims the incident caused serious injuries, while alleging reckless conduct by the defendants.

According to the complaint, Pablo suffered multiple fractures, lost more than $75,000 in wages and may require continuing medical care. Alberto, who was allegedly narrowly missed but not physically injured, claims emotional harm after being placed in fear for his safety. The brothers are seeking $3 million in compensatory damages, $3 million in punitive damages and $1 million in legal fees; the allegations have not been established in court.
