A free demo for *Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival* is now available on Steam, allowing players to sample the upcoming R-rated horror game before its full release. It introduces the game’s story, characters and Labyrinth setting, giving fans an early look at how the franchise’s Cenobite mythology has been adapted into an interactive experience.

Players control Aidan, who enters the Labyrinth after his girlfriend Sunny becomes trapped there, and must use the Genesis Configuration puzzle box to help her escape. The demo includes the prologue and part of the first episode, featuring puzzles, crafting and combat against the Scarlet Church and Cenobites; progress will not transfer to the full game, which launches on 8 October, and the demo may contain development-related bugs.
