Amazon MGM Studios, Blur Studios and Games Workshop are developing a new Warhammer 40,000 animated series, executive produced by Henry Cavill, who is also fronting Amazon's separate live-action Warhammer TV project written by Mike Flanagan. The show expands on "And They Shall Know No Fear," a well-received Space Marine episode from the Amazon anthology series Secret Level, and reflects a wider surge of Warhammer 40,000 media as Games Workshop pushes the franchise across television, film and video games nearly 40 years after its creation.
The series will focus on the Deathwatch, an elite Space Marine unit that hunts alien threats, and will likely continue the story of Lieutenant Titus and his squad from the original episode.
