Henry Cavill is set to reunite with the spy genre once again, this time teaming up with Kevin Hart for a Netflix Original action comedy titled "Spy Duo". The film pairs Cavill, a veteran of espionage roles in franchises such as Mission: Impossible, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Argylle, with Hart, who is best known for action comedies but recently showed a more serious side in the 2024 heist thriller "Lift". The project, first announced in May, marks a fresh on-screen partnership that promises to blend Cavill's action credentials with Hart's comedic timing.

According to industry outlet What's On Netflix, principal photography on "Spy Duo" is scheduled to begin in August 2026 and run through to November 2026. No further plot or casting details beyond Cavill and Hart's involvement have been confirmed at this stage.
