Here Is The First Look At ‘The Art Of METALLICA’ Exhibition Coming To Haight Street Art Center In San Francisco

Haight Street Art Center in San Francisco will host “The Art Of Metallica”, an exhibition tracing how visual art has shaped the band’s identity and its connection with the city. Running from 5 November 2026 to 10 January 2027, it brings together album artwork, concert posters and fan contributions alongside objects from San Francisco’s music history.

The exhibition includes the original paintings used for Metallica’s second and third albums, *Ride The Lightning* and *Master Of Puppets*, as well as work by poster artists and Pushead, whose imagery is associated with the band’s rise in the 1980s and 1990s. Visitors can also see material charting the evolution of the band’s logo, fan banners, sports-team collaborations, photographs and vintage merchandise, and try a remastered Metallica pinball machine.
