Here’s Everything We Learned from the Grand Theft Auto VI Extended Look
Netflix released a 26-minute extended preview of Grand Theft Auto VI ahead of its official Rockstar Games YouTube debut, offering a closer look at gameplay, characters and activities before the game’s 19 November release. The footage suggests the new instalment will place greater emphasis on the relationship between protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, while retaining the series’ mix of crime, combat and open-world exploration.
The preview shows smoother aiming, a possible slow-motion combat feature carried over from Red Dead Redemption 2, dodging and quick-time events during close-quarters fights. It also indicates that players may choose which protagonist undertakes certain jobs, and includes activities such as scuba diving, jet skiing, kayaking, racing, skydiving and visiting a strip club; GTA VI is available to pre-order for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
