Floyd Schofield and Lucas Bahdi are two unbeaten boxers scheduled to fight for the vacant WBA lightweight championship. The lightweight division is one of boxing's most competitive, and the WBA title is among the sport's most prestigious championships. Only one fighter can claim victory in this bout, making it a winner-takes-all scenario.
This fight matters because both competitors are currently undefeated, meaning whoever loses will suffer their first professional defeat. Schofield enters as the favourite, whilst Bahdi is the underdog challenger. For an unbeaten fighter, winning a major championship title represents a defining moment in their career.
