Telemundo and Billboard have confirmed that the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards will be held on Thursday, 22 October, at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, with the ceremony broadcast live on Telemundo and Peacock. Described as the longest-running and most prestigious Latin music award show, the event recognises the year's top artists, albums and songs based on sales, streaming, radio airplay and social data used in Billboard's weekly charts, and will feature performances spanning Latin pop, tropical and música mexicana.

The awards ceremony will coincide with the 37th Billboard Latin Music Week, running from 19 to 22 October at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach, which includes artist conversations, industry panels and the Billboard en Vivo showcases. Last year Bad Bunny led the winners with 11 awards, including artist of the year, ahead of Karol G with six and Fuerza Regida with five. Finalists for the 2026 edition have yet to be announced.
