The tease comes just months after he released three albums simultaneously in May, suggesting the prolific rapper may not be pausing for long despite that recent output.

The Instagram post, shared on 21 August with a video camera emoji and no further explanation, followed earlier hints including an "FOMO 2026" caption on throwback family photos and a picture of himself with recording equipment. In May, Drake made chart history when ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR debuted at numbers one, two and three on the Billboard 200 simultaneously, with ICEMAN giving him a record 15th number-one album, surpassing Jay-Z, while "Janice STFU" gave him the most Hot 100 number ones of any male soloist, overtaking Michael Jackson.
