Leigh Leopards ended Leeds Rhinos’ perfect home record with a hard-fought 20-16 Super League victory, strengthening their push for a top-six place. Leeds controlled much of the possession and territory, but Leigh’s determined second-half defence prevented a comeback and left the leaders vulnerable to Wigan drawing level on points.

Ryan Hall scored on his return from injury, while Brodie Croft also crossed for Leeds; Jake Connor added four goals. Innes Senior scored twice for Leigh, with Josh Charnley and Umyla Hanley also touching down, and Leigh held firm even after Andrew Badrock was sin-binned. Hall had a late try ruled out because his foot was in touch, before Leigh survived a final Leeds attack to complete a league double over the Rhinos.
