Hilltop Hoods Immortalized With Laneway In Adelaide
Adelaide has named a central city laneway after Hilltop Hoods, recognising the trio’s long-standing influence on Australian music and their connection to the city. The unveiling included two murals by local artist Vans the Omega, making the lane the sixth stop on Adelaide’s City of Music Laneways trail.
The lane is in the former Clubhouse Laneway, near Hindley Street, where the group performed early in their career. Hilltop Hoods have sold more than 1.1 million albums, earned 10 ARIA Awards and had seven ARIA chart-topping albums; their 2025 release, *Fall From The Light*, was their sixth consecutive chart leader. The group also presented a plaque marking “1955” reaching one million domestic sales.
