Hohem has unveiled the Eyepic, a handheld stabilised camera that stands out from rivals such as DJI's Osmo Pocket 4 and Insta360's Luna Ultra by featuring a detachable camera module that doubles as a standalone wearable action cam. This hybrid approach lets users switch between traditional gimbal-stabilised handheld shooting and hands-free, body-worn capture using the same device, potentially broadening its appeal in a crowded market of pocket stabilisers and action cameras.

The Eyepic records 4K video at up to 60fps and can shoot in vertical or horizontal orientation by rotating its 2.51-inch touchscreen grip, which also has a joystick and zoom lever. When detached, the magnetic camera module can be clipped to clothing or worn via an included lanyard, streaming a live 1080p preview to the main unit from up to 32 feet away; the module itself is waterproof to just over 32 feet, though the grip and gimbal are not. Hohem has yet to release details on battery life, storage capacity, tracking features or pricing.
