Hole was an American rock band that formed in Los Angeles in the early 1990s and became a major figure in the alternative rock scene of that decade. The band combined punk, metal and rock influences and achieved considerable popularity, particularly among younger audiences during the grunge era.
Three of the band's albums from the 1990s are being reissued on physical formats. "Live Through This", released in 1994, became a major commercial success and is widely regarded as a landmark alternative-rock record that influenced many subsequent musicians.
Vinyl records and physical music formats have experienced renewed interest amongst collectors and music enthusiasts in recent years. Bringing these albums back to vinyl and CD with remastered sound and restored artwork makes them available again to both longtime fans and those new to the band.
