Hollywood’s annual Beefsteak feast will return to Vibiana in Los Angeles on 29 August for its 11th edition, with Simpsons showrunner Matt Selman again hosting. The traditionally meat-heavy, utensil-free event is significant because it has become an informal reunion for the comedy industry, but is opening ticket sales to the public for the first time.

Italian butcher and restaurateur Dario Cecchini, described as a leading figure in Tuscan butchery, will provide and prepare the beef alongside chef Neal Fraser. Beefsteak revives historic New York communal meat feasts for a modern Hollywood crowd of writers, actors and producers, while also positioning itself as a charitable event with potential celebrity encounters for attendees.
