Home Depot has launched its 2026 Halloween Collection, bringing back its popular 12-foot-tall skeleton decoration, "Skelly," alongside a new premium version that can be controlled via a smartphone app. The update matters for keen Halloween decorators, as the giant skeleton has become a seasonal favourite in recent years and previous editions have sold out quickly, so shoppers wanting one for their yard are being advised to buy early.

The standard 12-foot Skelly, featuring LCD "LifeEyes," costs $299, while the new app-controlled version costs $379. The pricier model allows owners to customise head and mouth movements using servo motors, speak through the animatronic in real time via Bluetooth, record up to 30 sounds, and choose from 20 different LCD eye effects. Home Depot's wider 2026 Halloween range also includes other large animatronics and decorations available on its website.
