‘Home Improvement’ Reunion: Jonathan Taylor Thomas Seen in Rare Photo With Co-Stars Patricia Richardson and Taran Noah Smith

Variety · 3 hours ago

Patricia Richardson shared a rare photograph reuniting her with former “Home Improvement” co-stars Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Taran Noah Smith, who played two of her on-screen sons. The image drew attention because Thomas has largely avoided public appearances since stepping back from Hollywood in the early 2000s.

Thomas, now 44, played Randy Taylor in 179 episodes and was also known for voicing young Simba in “The Lion King”. He left the sitcom before its final year to study, attending Harvard, Columbia and the University of St Andrews, and later made a handful of appearances on Tim Allen’s “Last Man Standing”. The reunion comes amid renewed discussion of a possible “Home Improvement” reboot, although securing the participation of the original actors has reportedly proved difficult.

  • Patricia Richardson reunited with two television sons in a rare photo.
  • Jonathan Taylor Thomas has mostly stayed out of the public eye.
  • A “Home Improvement” reboot remains uncertain.
