Kennedy Jr. has launched The Real Food Show, a free YouTube cooking series promoting inexpensive, nutritious meals under the Trump administration’s “Make America Healthy Again” agenda. The programme matters because it turns federal dietary messaging into entertainment, seeking to encourage families to cook with less processed food.

The first episode features Kennedy Jr. alongside chef Andrew Gruel making crispy salmon cakes with apple and a white bean and greens salad, which the show says cost under $5 per serving. Future episodes are expected to include rotating celebrity chefs, recipes, cooking techniques and nutrition advice, while the series’ stated aim is to make healthy cooking practical, accessible and affordable.
