A woman’s body has been recovered after two women were thrown from a jet ski at Sand Hollow Reservoir in Utah, while the search continues for the second victim. Police allege that the 23-year-old operator, Antonio Omari Lewis, was intoxicated and that neither woman was wearing a life jacket, prompting serious criminal charges.

The accident reportedly happened at about 4.30pm on Tuesday after the jet ski hit a cross-wave. The victims, aged 26 and 28, were accompanied by a dog, which survived; one woman was reportedly four-and-a-half months pregnant with twins. Lewis allegedly admitted drinking tequila, showed signs of intoxication and refused breath and blood tests; he has been booked on two second-degree felony counts of automobile homicide.
