Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush, the upcoming open-world arcade racer, has had its release date moved forward by two weeks to 10th September 2026, rather than being delayed as is more commonly reported. The shift takes it out of the originally planned 24th September slot, which would have seen it compete directly with other major releases such as Control Resonant and Silent Hill: Townfall during an especially crowded period for new game launches.

No official reason has been given for the change, though it is widely assumed to be an effort to avoid the congested late September/early October release window. The new date was revealed alongside a fresh trailer showcasing the game's various island environments. Infinite Rush is being developed by Milestone, the studio behind the well-received Hot Wheels Unleashed series, and is set to launch on PS5.
