Billboard · 2 hours ago

Blacc Sam, Nipsey Hussle’s brother and business partner, and South Central rapper Bino Rideaux have released Prolific, Hussle’s first posthumous collaborative album. They present it as a continuation of Hussle’s creative and motivational legacy, involving the wider All Money In circle who helped shape his career and community work.

The album was recorded over three months in 2017 at NoName Studios in Tarzana, Los Angeles, before Hussle’s and Bino’s 2017 project No Pressure. Originally called Single for the Summer, it explores romance and relationship experiences while showing a more vulnerable, experimental side of Hussle; production includes Mike & Keys, MYGUYMARS, AXL Folie and Rance 1500, with mixing by MixedByAli and NOIS.

  • Prolific extends Nipsey Hussle’s posthumous musical legacy.
  • Bino Rideaux recalls Hussle’s collaborative, motivating studio approach.
  • The album was recorded in Los Angeles during 2017.
