American Songwriter · 1 month ago

Rascal Flatts frontman Gary LeVox has revealed he helped raise more than $1 million for Folds of Honor, a charity that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled American military service members and first responders. Speaking on Taste of Country Nights, LeVox said the sum was raised at a recent event in Minnesota, and he praised the charity's work in helping affected families access schooling and college scholarships.

LeVox specified that $1.25 million was raised at the Minnesota event, and his involvement with Folds of Honor continues with the Birdi Celebrity Golf Invitational, due to take place on 11 August at Old Hickory Country Club. The event, organised through his golf apparel brand Birdi, will feature 18 holes with celebrity players alongside an awards dinner and auctions. LeVox and Folds of Honor founder Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, who have known each other for 15 years, both described the partnership as rooted in shared values of faith, country and supporting military families.
