A new "acquire Power Ups" quest has appeared in Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 4, tasking players with collecting eight of the game's rare Power Up items. The challenge gives players no guidance on what Power Ups are or where to find them, making it one of the more difficult tasks in the current season to complete without help, according to gaming outlet Destructoid.

Power Ups can be obtained in two ways: by calling in a Llama Supply Drop via the Gizmo wheel, which has a chance of containing one, or by defeating a boss on the island, which can drop the "1-Up Token" variant. Two Power Ups have been identified so far — the 1-Up Token, which lets players respawn with their full inventory after being eliminated, and the God Mode Llama, which grants a short burst of speed and destructive power. Because both methods rely on random chance, Destructoid recommends players work on the quest gradually alongside other tasks, such as finding Sprites or activating Overrides, rather than focusing on it exclusively.
