How to collect map fragment at The $.$. Rocky in Fortnite Treasure Hunters
Fortnite’s Treasure Hunters mini-season includes a quest to collect map fragments, beginning with one at The $.$. Rocky. The fragment is aboard the large ship at the location, and collecting it completes the first step of a longer quest.
Land near the ship and head down to its lower levels, following the white diamond icon with an exclamation mark. The fragment is in a room near the ship’s southern end, beside a crate; breaking through floors can help you reach it. There are seven fragments in total, but only one becomes available each week.
In short
- The first map fragment is aboard the ship at The $.$. Rocky.
- Find it on a lower level near the ship’s southern end.
- One of seven fragments is available each week.
Explained simply
Fortnite is an online game in which players explore an island, gather equipment and compete to be the last player or team standing. The game also runs limited-time seasons and quests, which give players extra objectives alongside matches.
Treasure Hunters is a mini-season quest built around finding seven pieces of a map. The pieces are released one per week, so the full quest unfolds over time. Collecting them gives players a longer objective to follow across the season.
