Disney Dreamlight Valley's Pop City Star Path event includes a photo-based duty called "Take Photo: Neon Koi Lantern," which requires players to find and photograph a specific decorative item. The task is one of several similarly tricky photo challenges in the event, made harder by the game giving no hints about what the item looks like or where to find it, though completing it is necessary to fully clear the Star Path.

The Neon Koi Lantern is an event-exclusive reward found on page six of the Star Path, costing 75 Tokens, and reaching that page requires first buying roughly ten other prizes from earlier pages. Once purchased and placed anywhere in the valley, players simply need to equip the Phone from the Royal Tool wheel and take a picture with the lantern in frame; if it doesn't register, trying different angles or camera modes usually works. Completing the duty rewards 30 Tokens, and extra lanterns can later be bought from Scrooge McDuck's shop using Star Coins.
