Phantom quartz was added in the “Into the Abyss” update and can be found beneath the dead oak tree in Gnarly Bark, where hostile creatures make gathering risky. Players need a tier-three omni-hammer to harvest it; each fire brick requires four clay chunks, crushed quartz made in a quern, and an oven unlocked through the Hedge Turbo Disk.
