To produce a Mutation Pal, players must breed two Pals in the hope of receiving a Mutated Egg, which always hatches into a Pal with mutations. The odds can be improved by feeding an Extravagant Vegetable Cake, made from Flour x12, Cotton Candy x8, Potato x10, Onion x6 and Carrot x8, though the author admits the exact boosted rate is unclear. Version 1.0 features five passive skills — Babysitter, Immortal, Heavily Armored, Skymarcher and Idiosyncratic — with each mutated Pal typically receiving one at random. The Ancient Hatchery, unlocked at Level 76, is recommended as an endgame upgrade over the Breeding Farm, although it does not raise the chances of obtaining a mutation.
