How to get Panthalus in Palworld
PC Gamer’s guide explains that catching Panthalus in Palworld requires unlocking a boss encounter through a side quest rather than simply finding the creature in the wild.
– Players must visit the Ancient Civilization Researcher on the Deserted Islet, north of the Windswept Hills, to start the quest, although the four required bones can be collected before speaking to the researcher.
– The four items are Marine Echobone at `(124, -524)`, Silent Echobone at `(356, -111)`, Seafoam Echobone at `(-515, -545)`, and Tidewind Echobone at `(-265, 483)`, each found on or near giant whale skeletons in different biomes.
– The guide notes that some areas need environmental protection, including Level 2 Heat Resistance near Mount Obsidian and Level 2 Cold Resistance in the Astral Mountains.
– After collecting all four bones, players must return to the researcher to receive a Faded Schematic and craft the Echoing Flute at a workbench.
– Using the flute and interacting with the nearby glowing symbols unlocks the Panthalus boss fight, which has a ten-minute limit and takes place mostly over water.
– PC Gamer says the fight is intended for stronger players, recommending high-end weapons and a fast flying Pal; once Panthalus is defeated, the capture is guaranteed.
- Panthalus is unlocked through a quest, not a normal encounter
- You need four Echobones from across the map
- Defeating the boss guarantees the catch
