A new limited-time event called the Parks Floating Festival has launched in Disney Dreamlight Valley, adding a special floating island with several puzzle-based tasks for players to complete. One task requires collecting a resource called Plastic Scrap, which players need to progress through the event's puzzles and earn rewards.

Plastic Scrap is scattered randomly across the ground of the event island, with no fixed spawn points, so players must search the area thoroughly while the event is active. A similarly named but distinct material can also be found in the separate Eternity Isle region for owners of the A Rift in Time DLC, but this cannot be used for the festival puzzles. To complete the first puzzle, Adventureland Trash Bins, players must deposit the scrap in a specific pair of bins labelled "Grizzly Peak Recreation Area" near the central street's Figment topiary, unlocking a reward item and allowing progress to the next puzzle.
