The tie-in gives players a chance to earn an in-game trinket with a gameplay benefit and a set of cosmetic sails for their ship, adding a promotional incentive for fans exploring the remastered pirate adventure.

To claim the Red Bull trinket, players must dive to coordinates (615, 767) northeast of Nassau in the game's Caribbean Sea and locate a small buried chest containing the Stormrunner Pendant, which boosts healing from food, drinks and remedies. The Wings of the Tempest Sails, a purely cosmetic upgrade for the Jackdaw, are obtained by completing a six-question quiz on Red Bull's website (only one correct answer is required), then redeeming an emailed code in-game. The quiz is available until 15 September 2026.
