Forza Horizon 6 allows players to permanently give cars from their garage to other players through the Gift Drop feature. It unlocks after the first barn find and matters because the game provides little explanation, while gifts cannot be directed to a specific person or reclaimed once sent.

Players can use Gift Drop at an empty barn or through the Cars section of the main menu. Some vehicles, including those from deluxe editions or welcome packs, cannot be gifted; players can target broad recipient groups, choose a pre-written message and decide whether to reveal their Gamertag, after which the game randomly selects an eligible recipient.
