How to mine for blue gems in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Seafaring Star Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley includes a duty to mine blue gems, but only four gem types and their shiny variants count. The distinction matters because other gems that look blue, including Pure Ice, Opal and Diamonds, will not advance the task.
Players need to mine 20 qualifying gems to complete the duty. Pickaxe Polish can increase gem drops, and mining-specialist villagers or a character with the best friend glow may help; the task awards 10 Tokens, which can be spent on event rewards.
In short
- Only four gem types and their shiny variants count as blue.
- Mine 20 qualifying gems to finish the duty.
- The reward is 10 Seafaring Star Path Tokens.
