Samsung’s One UI 9 update is rolling out to Galaxy phones, bringing Android 17-based features such as AI-generated suggestions, scam detection and privacy alerts. Samsung says phones from the Galaxy S23 series and Z Flip 5 or Z Fold 5 onwards are eligible; availability can be checked under Settings > Software Update. Separate beta updates are also rolling out in South Korea for the Galaxy A55 and A35, and in India for the S24 series; they range from about 404MB to 601MB and require beta-program enrolment for the A-series phones.
