CS2’s Rush Hour update introduces a virtual chicken-raising feature. Players with Prime Status Upgrade can obtain an egg and hatch it by checking in daily, adding a routine-based game-keeping element to the game.

The egg arrives through the Weekly Care Package Drop and remains in a nest until incubation is completed. After hatching, players must collect food from one of three bag types through further Weekly Care Packages, with warnings issued when supplies are low; neglecting the chick may cause it to leave.
