Palworld's 1.0 update has gone live, introducing a brand-new location called Sunreach Island. This Destructoid guide explains how players can reach the island, which cannot be accessed simply by flying there and will not appear on the map until it has been unlocked.

To gain access, players must first travel to the Feybreak Tower on the southern border of Feybreak Island, an area with extremely low temperatures that requires suitable preparation. The tower, located at coordinates (-1294, -1669), is guarded by two bosses, Bjorn and Bastigor, who can pose a significant challenge to under-levelled players. Defeating them allows players to teleport to the top of the tower, where a portal transports them to Sunreach Island; on arrival, an NPC provides a first quest, likely linked to the newly added World Tree, and the region features its own Pals to capture, so levelling up beforehand is advised.
