How to unlock the full Weeping Creek Valley map in Phantom Blade Zero
In *Phantom Blade Zero*, much of the Weeping Creek Valley map is revealed by finding bells, but three optional areas can remain hidden even after players move on to the Crimson Forest. Unlocking them involves defeating enemies, backtracking and progressing further through the main story, so players may need to return to the valley later.
The first area is reached through a glowing floor hole in Valley Sha-Chi Tower and requires defeating Hua, The Betrothed. The Creek Valley Plains require defeating The Hunt to obtain the Hunter’s Chain Sickle, using it to reach a key, then opening a gate and finding four bells. The southwest area becomes accessible after defeating Bai Chilian and reaching the Village of Lu; guards at the Outpost then turn into monsters, opening the way across the bridge.
In short
- Three optional areas can remain hidden in Weeping Creek Valley.
- Some require story progress in the Crimson Forest.
- Find bells to reveal the map.
Explained simply
Phantom Blade Zero is an action game set in a fictional world where players explore connected areas and fight enemies. Weeping Creek Valley is one of those areas, and finding bells reveals parts of its map.
Some sections are optional and depend on defeating particular enemies or reaching later points in the story. Players may therefore need to revisit the valley with new items or after events elsewhere have changed the route forward.
