The Donkey is a crucial mechanic in Graveyard Keeper 2 that delivers corpses to your graveyard on a regular schedule. These bodies can be buried to improve your graveyard's rating or converted into zombies to assist with tasks, making the Donkey's reliability essential to gameplay progression.

The Donkey arrives every two in-game days, but operates under a probabilistic system where the chance of it missing increases with each successful delivery. Once it misses, it will almost certainly return within the next two-day cycle. If your graveyard reaches capacity, the Donkey will not appear until you clear space; however, players can eventually increase the number of bodies delivered per visit through completion of in-game quests.
