The two-hour show, preceded by a 30-minute pre-show, typically offers fewer blockbuster surprises than Keighley's other events but usually still delivers some notable reveals, making it a key date for gaming fans to watch.

The stream starts at 2PM ET on 25 August and will be available via livestream, YouTube or Twitch, with Engadget also running a liveblog. Confirmed content includes new looks at Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, Gears of War: E-Day, Silent Hill: Townfall and The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past, plus details on titles such as Valor Mortis, Pony Island 2, Path of Exile 2, Monster Hunter Outlanders, Metro 2039 and a new Paradox Interactive strategy game, with a possible release date reveal for The Duskbloods. Gamescom will also feature separate Xbox streams, multi-day CD Projekt Red broadcasts, the Future Games Show on 26 August, and an Awesome Indies show on 27 August.
