The first teaser for Yaga, a Canadian mystery thriller starring Hudson Williams and Carrie-Anne Moss, debuted at San Diego Comic-Con. The series is notable as Williams’ first major project since the success of Crave’s Heated Rivalry, and it reworks the Baba Yaga myth into a contemporary, feminist-leaning supernatural drama.

Yaga will premiere in October on Crave in Canada and AMC+ in the United States. The half-hour series follows private investigator Rapp, played by Noah Reid, as he investigates the disappearance of Henry Park, the heir to a powerful fishery played by Williams, amid local secrets and ancient magic; Clark Backo also stars, while Kat Sandler adapts and showruns the project from her own play.
