Hull City have agreed a deal with Eintracht Frankfurt to sign winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya, with the 21-year-old set to undergo a medical in East Yorkshire before Tuesday's transfer deadline. The France Under-21 international would become the Tigers' 13th signing of the summer as the club continues to strengthen Sergej Jakirovic's squad following their promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.

Bahoya, who joined Frankfurt from Angers in 2024, has scored seven goals and provided eight assists in 78 appearances, featuring in both the Champions League and Europa League. Primarily a left winger capable of playing across the front line, he holds the Bundesliga speed record after being clocked at 23.09mph against Bochum in 2025, and has previously attracted interest from several Premier League clubs. Hull have made a strong start to their top-flight return, beating Manchester United and Coventry City in their opening two league matches.
